Pangea

Melissa and Lisa, with the help of art photographer Rashed Haq have interviewed 8 female immigrants in the Houston area. The interviews (accessible via Podcast, pangeapodcast.com) lead up to a final installation/performance piece using Rashed’s photographic portraitures of the women, found objects, collected gestures and stories in order to investigate personal narrative, journey, change, loss, globalization, economics, and the real/imagined concepts of the present Pangea.

Come and witness this celebration of story, culture, and tradition.

This installment will run September 30- October 15. Tuesdays-Fridays from 2pm-8pm and Saturdays 1pm-9pm.
