Permaculture

December 27, 2022 - December 30, 2022

Free
Permaculture Feature

As gardens can be real, imaginary, metaphysical, philosophical, romantic, magical, healing and communal spaces that develop natural forms of diversity and resilience, permaculture – stories of the urban garden invites you to a journey exploring different perspectives, stories and fictional artworks that connect to earthly spaces. From American urban gardens to French, Singaporean and Portuguese ways of relating to gardens and gardening, from Indigenous Wisdom in Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer to the philosophical thoughts of Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Reveries of a Solitary Walker or the imaginative gardens of Middle-earth by J.R.R Tolkien in Lord of the Rings, gardens are a source of inspiration for humans and a celebration of the process of growth and transformation as nature accomplishes the life cycle and teaches us about the past, the present and the future.

The virtual streaming ended on December 30th. Thank you to those who were able to join us live.
